22 Years of Caring Growth
For over two decades, we have focused on building caring relationships with families and fostering social development. Our modern Japandi-inspired classrooms provide a bright, gentle environment where children gain confidence through creative, play-based exploration and attentive guidance.

Our Nurturing Learning Programs

Play-Based Learning
We encourage natural curiosity through hands-on exploration and tactile experiences that build foundational thinking skills.

Creative Arts & Expression
Our creative zones foster self-expression through music, painting, and storytelling, allowing every child's imagination to flourish.

Social Development
We prioritize social growth and confidence, helping children build caring relationships and learn the value of community and empathy.
Our Nurturing Philosophy
We believe early education is about more than just numbers and letters—it is about fostering the confidence to explore. Our approach blends play-based discovery with meaningful social connection, ensuring every child feels valued, capable, and creatively inspired.

Questions & Answers
What age groups do you serve?
We currently welcome children between the ages of 2 and 6 years. Our programs are thoughtfully adapted to support each developmental stage, ensuring every child receives the care and stimulation appropriate for their age.
How does TEF implement learning through play?
Play is our primary vehicle for learning. Through guided activities and free exploration, children develop critical social-emotional skills, confidence, and cognitive abilities in an environment that feels natural and joyful.
What is the teacher-to-child ratio?
Maintaining low teacher-to-child ratios is central to our philosophy. This ensures our dedicated staff can provide the personalized attention and nurturing relationships that define the TEF experience.
How do parents stay informed?
We believe in collaborative relationships. Parents receive regular updates on their child's daily activities and progress through our communication portal, as well as formal reviews twice a year.
Are there enrollment requirements?
We welcome all families who value a play-based curriculum. Enrollment requires a complete inquiry form followed by a brief orientation tour at your chosen location in either North York or Scarborough.
